Ed Hetherington is the President of Hetherington Advisors LLC, a consulting firm he founded in 2022 to help finance companies, manufacturers, and dealers enhance equipment sales through financing, with a focus on captive and virtual captive financing solutions. Prior to this, he retired from Doosan Bobcat in 2022, where he was Senior Advisor to the CEO and President of Doosan Bobcat Financial Solutions (DBFS).

Ed began his career in leasing in 1973 with Equilease Corporation and has held leadership roles at companies including Chase Manhattan Leasing, GE Capital, Textron Financial, and CIT Group. He also  served as President of Ingersoll Rand Financial Services before coming President of Doosan Financial Solutions in 2007, overseeing global financing for Doosan equipment. He has extensive asset financing and franchise program financing and has been a member of corporate credit committees for both Ingersoll Rand and Doosan. Ed is a past board member of the Equipment Leasing and Financing Association and has been involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Atlanta Chapter since 2009.
